Malta

Malta

Malta is an archipelago consisting of three islands including it’s sister islands Gozo and Comino, with a unique energy–a modern European state with roots in the rich soil of the ancient world. No one comes to Malta just once. Transformed by centuries of invasions from the Phoenicians to the French the true spirit of Malta is an intoxicating blend of all these elements, reflected in the rich cultural tapestry of everything from cuisine to architecture. This island archipelago basking in the waters of the central Mediterranean Sea is renowned for the warmth and hospitality of its people. Lying approximately 70 miles off the coast of Sicily, Malta enjoys a year-round climate to rival that of southern California and is unsurprisingly a Mecca for sun-seekers who come to soak in the 122 miles of cliff lined beaches. Indeed, Malta offers some of the best diving and boating anywhere in the med. Malta has something for everyone from Roman history buffs to art lovers, gastronomes, to village wanderers in search of ancient vines. With a population of just 500,000, excellent public transportation and healthcare, and English as one of the offical languages – you may never want to leave!
